Direct Care Worker / CNA / Home Health Aid
Day/Evening Shifts Rotating Weekend
Education: High School diploma or equivalent GED required
Experience: Effective communication skills, compassion, attention to detail, flexibility, physical stamina, and patience. Ability to read, write, and speak English
Qualifications: Active driver’s license with reliable transportation. Able to pass background checks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Direct Care Worker:
- Helps the consumer with ambulation/transfer
- Assists consumers in dressing, bathing, and completing basic hygiene tasks.
- Prepares meals/snacks that adhere to special dietary considerations.
- Assists with light cleaning and housework.
- Helps consumers complete basic household tasks.
- Runs errands
- Serves as a companion for the consumer
- Provide transportation
- Assist with eating/feeding
- Laundry, change bed linen, make bed

Scheduling Coordinator
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Schedule and maintain consumer's ongoing staffing requirements
- Responsible for scheduling caregivers for all open cases, call-outs, vacation coverage, etc.
- Create, update and distribute monthly Consumer schedules to all caregivers.
- Ensure consumer's schedules are covered, at all times, and accurately documented in HR/Scheduling system.
- Build honest, sustainable relationships with consumers, caregivers and office staff.
- Ability to manage a high volume of incoming calls, while placing several outgoing calls to staff open consumer shifts, on a timely basis.
- Responsible for On-Call coverage
